I am Dr. Felecia Baker I love helping people solve life’s problems with tiny needles and by developing customized herbal formulations in our private practice here in Catonsville Maryland. Over the last six years I have studied and practiced Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. I completed doctoral and master’s degree programs in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). During my doctoral residency and internship, I had the honor of working with cancer survivors, oncologists, nurses, radiology therapists, dosimetrists and staff members through the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health – Kaufman Cancer Center as well as supporting patients with improving emotional wellness & behavioral health concerns at Focused Solutions, LLC.
Prior to working as a medical provider, I solved problems in a different capacity while working as a civil engineer for nearly 23 years of study and practice. I earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCA&TSU) and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). When I am not working in my private practice, I get to hang out with my wonderful husband in our garden, we enjoy traveling, reading, and working on home projects together.
